Whatever the application--from IC wafers to liquid crystal displays to optical discs, including compact and laser discs--the Nikon OPTIPHOT 300 establishes the standard for precision inspections and ease of use. Remarkably simple to operate, this new ergonomically designed instrument is already having a significant impact in many high-tech industries. All operations and features, from positioning of the focus knobs and stage movement controls to the extended tilting eyepiece tubes, are designed for maximum operator comfort. The OPTIPHOT 300 further incorporates new CF Infinity Corrected Objectives and a new built-in Epi-illuminator for observation of crisp images in clear contrast, even at high magnifications. And the OPTIPHOT 300 minimizes operator-generated contamination by providing control below the stage, via a remote keypad, for all frequently performed functions, including focusing, stage movements, nosepiece rotations, epi-polarizer rotations, episcopic aperture diaphragm stop, Epi-/Dia-illumination selection and light intensity.
