DuPont’s Hot Roll Laminator HRL-24 is designed for double or single sided use with Riston and other brands of photopolymer film resists. • The Laminator uses high efficiency internally heated rolls and incorporates infinitely variable dual OMRON solid state temperature controls providing a warm up time in minutes. • Individual roller temperature sensors control the temperature accurately on both heated rolls achieving optimum lamination results. • Stepless infinitely variable electronic speed control, from 0 – 4.0 metres per minute. Complete with accurate encoder fed digital speed readout and instant reverse function • The heated rolls are in intimate contact with the resist and transfer heat directly to it and the substrate with unrivalled efficiency, even with materials up to 6mm thick, or continuous runs of heat sinking materials such as Steel and Copper, due to the exclusive high mass rollers and thin skin silicone rubber covering. • The Laminator includes automatic and adjustable Air Power Assist which provides up to three times the standard laminating pressure for improved conformation of resist over smooth or irregular surfaces. • Dual Anti-Static Ionising bars provide effective protection against stray resist flakes from being drawn between the resist and substrate. • Supplied complete with a floor standing pedestal cabinet which contains DuPont’s dual function LC2400 Cleaner unit, this functions as a dust extractor drawing contamination from the surfaces of the substrate prior to lamination and also to extract resist fumes from the operator environment. • Optional exclusive Film Alignment resist supply mandrel available to speed up alignment of resist between top and bottom covers and substrate. • For use with 3” (76mm) or more economical larger 5” (130mm) resist supply cores. • Standard OMRON temperature and DART speed modules make ongoing user maintenance a breeze. • Fully adjustable panel guides, extraction height and low friction ball bearing conveyor rollers to prevent scratching of substrate prior to lamination
